The
Beginning
In 1989, Mrs. Carol McKinnon, a wife and the mother of four
children, was sitting in the dinnette and noticed outside the dinnette window the homes air conditioner condenser and became concerned that with each winter, the family's
air conditioner was sitting exposed and unprotected in the freezing
cold. The ice, snow, rain, leaf and twig debris was building
up inside the unit and that could mean expensive repairs or
replacement costs for the family.
"It
just made sense to protect our home's expensive air-conditioner"
states Mrs. McKinnon, and she believed it would only make sense
to other families as well.
After extensive materials research, and
pattern making Mrs. McKinnon created and designed a unique outdoor
air-conditioner protective cover,
that would fit all major brands of outdoor units. Thus, the
original product known as the CapCover was born.
Mrs.
McKinnon began offering homeowners across the U.S. the CapCover
through direct mail, newspaper, and local television stations.
The CapCover took off with flying colors.
In
2006 Mrs. McKinnon was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's
Disease) and so now Mr. McKinnon with over 17 years experience as a HVAC professional is helping Carol run the family
business known as National Home Care Products Co., Inc., offering
thousands of protective covers, to homeowners and businesses all across the
United States.
"Our products are hand made in the United States and are
fully guaranteed. We use only the
highest quality, materials, and we insist
on treating our customers as our family wishes to be treated
when making a purchase, we are always only an e-mail or phone call away" states Mrs. McKinnon.
"Protecting
one's air-conditioner and evaporative air cooler unit investment
only makes sense; whole house central air-conditioning is an
expensive purchase and these days it seems more important than
ever to protect what we have" states Mrs. McKinnon. |
